My role
My role
We are a small but growing team based in central London. Come and help us put our ideas into action!
We have challenging, interesting paid jobs for those with more experience and ethical, paid internships for those with less.
See below for our latest jobs and internships. We're also always keen to hear from potential volunteers.
Exciting community opportunity to work with individuals, families, organisations and the wider community to research local men's health needs, engage community members and develop and organise activities to meet those needs.
Deadline: 2nd November 2012
This is a multi-faceted role focussing on a project in south London. Primarily, you will work with individuals, families, organisations and the community as a whole, to research local needs, engage community members and develop and organise activities to meet those needs. You will also act as a primary link between communities, MHF and participating agencies and organisations.
A chance to use your talents to meet the health information needs of men through designing, developing and delivering MHF health information and health promotion services targeting men.
Deadline: 9th November
A number of these projects are already underway and will require an ongoing project management. There is scope for a number of new projects to be developed to meet MHF’s aspirations and will require an innovative approach to define and deliver them. You will also be responsible for executing marketing and business development plans for the MHF services in the given area to ensure effective retention of existing business accounts, and sourcing, targeting and winning new business.
The MHF also runs a successful programme of ethical, paid internships. Currently we pay from £600/month plus expenses and are looking for interns interested in the following. (Click on the link for a PDF job description and person specification).
Or you can find all these intern job descriptions here.
If your area of interest is not listed or you're not sure you have the right skills but you're still excited by the cause of men's health, we'd still love to hear from you. Please contact us at recruitment@menshealthforum.org.uk.
