Pompey in the community kicked off their new season with health checks at Portsmouth FC's home game with Morecambe.
Thirty five men took advantage of the opportunity to have a simple health check and a number of issues were identified including high blood pressure, raised blood sugar and heart and mental health concerns.
'The nurses were fantastic on the day even though we were melting in the heat,' said Pompey in the Community Health Trainer Paul Allen.
On the pitch, Pompey came back from three goals down to draw 3-3. Not good for anyone's blood pressure.
Health checks will be available at Portsmouth home games all season.
