How is your data & insight used by the NHS & Public Sector?

We're working with NCVO and other VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance members to explore how data and intelligence held by the voluntary sector can be used.

Can you help?

The aim of the work is to show how shared insight can be used to enable better service planning and address inequalities in public service delivery. The study is gathering examples of good practice through a questionnaire, case studies and focus groups. The results will be published in April 2021. The work is sponsored by NHS England and NHS Improvement, Public Health England and the Department of Health and Social Care.

The questions we're looking at include:

  • What data and insight is being collected?
  • How have partners have used voluntary sector data and insight to improve services?
  • What barriers do VCSE organisations face in getting their insight and data used effectively?

The survey is short and to the point.  It would be great if you could help us with it.  And if you can work with us on a Case Study or a Focus Group, please let us know.

The Men’s Health Forum need your support

It’s tough for men to ask for help but if you don’t ask when you need it, things generally only get worse. Especially during a major pandemic like Covid-19. So we’re asking.

Men appear more likely to get Covid-19 and far, far more likely to die from it. The Men's Health Forum are working hard pushing for more action on this from government, from health professionals and from all of us. Why are men more affected and what can we do about it? We need the data. We need the research. We need the action. Currently we're the only UK charity doing this - please help us.

Here’s our fund-raising page - please chip in if you can.
